Oh, I see that there is a fake tweet going around, claiming that the game will be delayed until March 2027. I see no such information on official Rockstar social media nor on their website.

Do you people think that the game can be delayed due to all those jailbreaks on PS5 console? To my knowledge*, PlayStation releases new mandatory updates to enforce their safety measures but they get cracked in a few days or so. As I understand (among other reasons), one reason for those upgrades is to secure GTA game on PS5 so that the game can be played only if it is bought officially. So, if those safety measure get routinely cracked, perhaps Sony or TakeTwo would decide to delay the game until the issue is fixed, hm? *I do not own PS5 and I don't know too much about the situation. Perhaps some of the things I wrote here are not accurate.

Ah ok, I've seen some YouTube videos showing GTA marketing somewhere on streets in USA. (I'm not from North America and I have no idea what is where, except for the state of Maine.) I feel a bit more confident that the game will not be delayed.

So the leaked build was from the beginning of 2025 and clearly still has a lot of issues that need to be fixed, i assume this will get delayed until december like GTA 5, i believe the release date will be 17th December

I won't panic sell, almost 3 months left and they have way too many systems they are adding from FiveM that will take a lot of fixing. even the leaker said a lot of work still needed and he is probably the only one with knowledge with no NDA

Given the companies record, lack of marketing so close to launch, former employees stating they think it might be delayed further etc I think yes at 10C is undervalued. IDK though NFA I might be retarded let's see

OT: This game is so sad, base content available on previous entries now locked behind an expensive paywall, effective "base" game is now so expensive at 80$, no physical at launch, no PC edition, GTA Online writing was trash since ever, & those writers have worked on GTA 6 too, og staff left rockstar long ago, i doubt thisll be a good game, i wouldnt pre-order but the amount of pre-orders tells the state of gaming right now, & its worrying, a lot of gamers with no critical thinking whatsoever who like getting scammed & enjoying it, its so sad, again sorry for off-topic but this is very close to my heart DO NOT BUY GTA 6

The release date will not be postponed. Many companies have already delayed the launch of their products to avoid competing with GTA, which is expected to dominate media attention. I find it hard to imagine other companies agreeing to postpone their release dates yet again, as doing so could result in significant economic losses.
